The History Of Revive My People

Where It Began

Revive My People began with the transformation of Paztuh Mike’s own life. Growing up in central Illinois, Mike developed a passion for music that moved from classic rock and alternative music into hip-hop. As a young artist known as “MiNiMe,” he opened MiNiMe Studio Productions in Belleville, Illinois, and built a local platform through music and recording.

A New Direction

In 2010, God called Mike to step away from the direction his music career had taken and fully pursue Christ. MiNiMe Studio Productions became Men Standing Positive (MSP), a nonprofit outreach focused on street evangelism, mentoring, and helping people build a stronger foundation in life and faith. In 2014, Mike was ordained into ministry and continued serving students, families, and individuals throughout the region.

Anna Joins the Mission

Anna Elisabeth joined the mission in 2011 as a volunteer at MSP outreach events. What began through photography and event support became a clear calling to ministry. By 2014, Anna was serving as a committed part of the ministry team, and she and Mike continued building the work together. After extensive premarital counseling, they married in 2017.

A Season of Growth

Over time, MSP expanded into a more holistic, wraparound approach to mentoring—serving the spirit, soul, and body of individuals and families. During a significant season of obedience and preparation beginning in 2019, Mike and Anna were released by their pastor, Ken Robinson, and sensed God’s call to church planting. That five-year season included serving in Minnesota without pay, giving up many personal possessions, Anna’s life-threatening colon cancer battle and healing, and the development of Building Kingdom Citizens, a discipleship-focused organization.

Becoming Revive My People

As the work expanded, Men Standing Positive became Revive My People. The new name better reflects the organization’s commitment to serve men, women, children, and families from every background—not only men. Revive My People focuses on strengthening communities through family-centered events, practical resource connections, youth and adult mentoring, and programs designed to help participants build skills, confidence, stability, and meaningful support systems.

Serving Soulard and Beyond

Today, Paztuh Mike and Anna Elisabeth lead Rock Church Soulard, and Revive My People operates in connection with the church by sharing its facilities. Together, they serve the Soulard neighborhood and the greater St. Louis metropolitan area, including East St. Louis, through community engagement, relationship-building, mentoring, and accessible events for individuals and families.
